If you want/need a post gone use the (report) button. That is next to every post.

When creating a board make sure that if you want it in the NSFW section that you change this setting. If you want your board searchable/show up on the main page, then you must go to the seach tab under admin

hey godofanon you should put in a script that puts a little anonIB word or logo on every image that's uploaded here, like jj.am does. that would be cool

Every time I visit teensnorules I get some huge ass black and red screen giving me malware attack warnings. I think firefox is behind this shit. Thanks for the warning and all, but I really shouldn't be getting them after the ten fucking thousandth page view. Anyone know their way around this?

If the Admin of a board has been gone for, say, a year, is there any way for Anonib's Site Admin to transfer the board's admin status to another person? I am http://www.anonib.com/_pleasantlyplump/ 's only moderator, and have been wondering if I could set up a sub-board or three.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this but here goes.... My computer recently crashed so I lost all my pics i had saved. i did have various links saved on a USB, but now they are all deleted (like by a mod or admin). I was wondering if there was anyway to see those pages again? i'd say they were prob 6 monthes old or so. if you could give me any pointers that would be great! and like i said i do have the URL's for them, so idk if there is something like wayback machine (yes i already tried that) but for like just AnonIB? I hope i'm not S.O.L. Thanks for help!!!

I'm the admin for the Star Trek Sex, board and I was wondering if there was some way I could give someone limited moderator powers. I would like to have some mods who could handle other posts, but not be able to modify or delete Admin posts. As far as I can tell a moderator could delete every thread in the board regardless of who established them. Frankly, that worries me. I'm not about to risk letting someone delete my entire board, but I would like to give some people moderator positions.

Anonymous responded "why don't you try doing the very things you're worried about with a moderator pass."

And logically (or illogically) I took it to mean that he wanted me to delete every thread on my board.
So you can see why I responded the way I did. Based on the last reply, I now realize that what you were saying was to try and see if I could log in as a moderator and delete admin stuff.
To which I say, sorry about saying your opinion was useless, but I tried that before posting here. And I was able to do everything as a mod that I could as an admin, except [�]

There's seriously more and more of it every day and the girls they're using are getting younger and younger.
It's obvious which threads are the spam threads, they're always set up the same way...shitty foreign redirect site that goes to some shitty host that gets the spammer points when you download from it and the description is always in broken english.

Is there anything that can be done about it?

it has nothing to do with 711chan, they've been banning the spam posters and deleting them because they're getting hit with the spam threads just as hard as anonib is

one solution would be to just blacklist anything beginning in "http://" and tell anons that they needed to take out the http from the links they post, that way the human posters would still be able to post modified links but the spam bots would just get blocked time and time again
