You pay a fee when you transfer funds from your bank account to a secondary web currency(dwolla, paypal, etc), and then again when you buy actual bitcoins(mt. gox). And then another fee at most sites where you can use them. It isn't hard to trace at all and, if you knew anything about bitcoin you'd know that. Theres a papertrail from the bank account you need to create it, to the primary transfer, then to the secondary, and then to the purse you transfer the money. It takes as long to track as credit card/debit transactions to paypal, you just think that because its over an "encrypted" network its untrace-able. The only thing that IS encrypted about it is WHERE you spend the money and WHAT you spend it on. But, a cursory examination of your financial statements will show a trail to bitcoin. Bitcoin is a scam... pure and simple. There are fees upon fees and no regulating body at all. I've used bitcoin on SR for the past like six months, and its just endless bullshit. If anonib wants donations, they should go with paypal, because NOBODY is going to want to go through the bullshit to use bitcoin just to transfer five bucks and have 10-15% rips taken out at every currency service.
